EDITH OSS is the last living co-star
of HARRY PIEL. Once a great UFA-star, she is now in her early
90s, and still a beautiful woman.... She got her first movie
role in 1935, in Alles weg'n dem Hund aka All for the Dog's
Sake (USA). She also took part in the movies "Punks kommt
aus Amerika" and "Liselotte von der Pfalz"
in 1935.
In the follwoing years, she became
established in supporting roles starring in "Der andere
Mann" (1937), "Menschen, Tiere, Sensationen"
(1938) and "Wir tanzen um die Welt" (1939).
In the 40's followed well-known productions
like "Der Kleinstadtpoet" (1940), "Frauen sind
doch bessere Diplomaten" (1941) and "Floh im Ohr"
(1943).
After the war she starred in "Leckerbissen" (1948)
and "Einmal am Rhein" (1952).
